Diplomatic Scholarships are designed to benefit the children or spouse of diplomatic staff from developing countries, who are currently stationed in the UK. These are only applicable to countries where the government is unable to contribute towards tuition fees. These scholarships are limited in number and are competitive. For the list of developing countries, please see appendix B below.
Half tuition fee award
|Eligibility:||You must be a child or spouse of a diplomatic staff member currently stationed in the UK and from a developing country. You must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. In addition to your scholarship application form, you must provide a letter from your embassy or high commission verifying that you are a child or spouse of a diplomatic staff member stationed in the UK, and that your government is not offering a contribution toward your tuition fees. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.|

For our scholarship purposes, the term ‘developing’ includes middle income countries.
