The Brian Large bursary fund was established in 1990 to provide financial support to UK students that are studying full time on the Transport and Planning MSc from September 2017. The award provides a contribution towards fees and living expenses during studies.

Applications must be from full-time students who have been accepted by their chosen university for a full-time transport Masters.

£7,200 paid in three tranches of £2,400 over the year
Financial need and you must be a UK citizen or have permanent UK residential status.
Preferably a 2.1 but the rules may be relaxed for outstanding mature students.
The Trust also offers a £500 prize, The Voorhees-Large Prize, for the best transport Masters dissertation submitted by a UK resident studying at a UK university.
Universities can only submit one dissertation by a UK resident student during the 12 months. The Trustees do not consider dissertations submitted directly by students.
The closing date is mid-December.
