Module registration

Detailed information on module registration is available on the following subpages in this section:

Full-time undergraduate students

The majority of full-time undergraduate students will need to complete their module registration online, you will be invited by email to do so by your Faculty Registry Office.

Online module registration for continuing students opens this academic year (2016/17) on 4 April at 8am and you are selecting modules for the academic year 2017/18.

Please note: your core modules are automatically registered and depending on your programme specification you will need to register options, electives and/or free choice modules.

Some full-time undergraduate students will need to register their modules by completing a Module Registration Form - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details, but please also check your Faculty news in Blackboard regularly.

If your Faculty Registry Office advises you to complete a Module Registration Form, please note that you will need to list all your modules for the next academic year on the form – your core, option, elective and/or free choice modules.

Module retrievers

If you are a module retriever (i.e. your current mode is PTR on SRSWeb), you will be contacted via email by your Faculty Registry Office with further information and instructions. Your module registration will need to be submitted using a module choice form before you can enrol online. Please keep up-to-date with your Faculty news on Blackboard for any announcements and information about module registration. The appropriate module choice forms can also be found in the My Registry Blackboard site.

Part-time students

Online module registration is available for some part-time courses - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details on registering your modules, but make sure you also check your Faculty Registry Blackboard site regularly for any updates on module registration.

Postgraduate students

Online module registration is available for some postgraduate courses - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details on registering your modules. You should also check your Faculty news on Blackboard regularly for updates on module registration.
