Full-time undergraduate students
The majority of full-time undergraduate students will need to complete their module registration online. Your Faculty Registry Office will send you an email confirming the process.
Online module registration for continuing students opens this academic year (2017/18) on 4 April at 8am and you are selecting modules for the academic year 2018/19.
Please note: your core modules are automatically registered and depending on your programme specification you will need to register options, electives and/or free choice modules.
You are advised to think very carefully about your choices and the modules that you would like to study prior to the opening of online module registration as spaces on modules are limited. Once you have completed online module registration you will not normally be permitted to make any changes.
Some full-time undergraduate students will need to register their modules by completing a Module Registration Form rather than selecting modules online - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details, but please also check your Faculty news in Blackboard regularly.
If your Faculty Registry Office advises you to complete a Module Registration Form, please note that you will need to list all your modules for the next academic year on the form – your core, option, elective and/or free choice modules.
If you are currently studying as a module retriever you will be treated as though you are progressing full-time to the next level of study in 2018/19 and will be able to select modules online accordingly.
If you have not received an email from your Registry confirming how you are required to select modules by 29 March please contact your Faculty Registry Office.
Online module registration is available for some part-time courses - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details on registering your modules, but make sure you also check your Faculty Registry Blackboard site regularly for any updates on module registration.
Online module registration is available for some postgraduate courses - your Faculty Registry Office will email you with details on registering your modules. You should also check your Faculty news on Blackboard regularly for updates on module registration.
