SSH Coursework Submission
Coursework submission procedure;
All coursework must be submitted online via your module Blackboard site. Paper submissions will no longer be accepted, unless stated on the specific module Blackboard site. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that work is submitted by the due date and in accordance with the published systems.
The deadline for all SSH modules is 12pm.
Both online and hard copies of work must be submitted by the specified deadline date as per instructions on the module Blackboard site. Check with your module leader in advance of the deadline if you are unsure of the correct procedure for submitting your work. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you allow sufficient time to submit work prior to a deadline, to ensure that minor computer problems do not result in coursework being considered late.

Submitting a hard copy of your assessment
Due to the nature of some assessments, you may be required to submit a hard copy of your work. Where applicable, hard copies of coursework must be submitted through the appropriate letter box on the ground floor of Wells Street. The building is open between 8:30am and 9pm, Monday to Friday. A coursework cover sheet (CA1 Form) must be attached to the front of the coursework, to ensure that the work is correctly logged and given to the right module leader for marking. Make sure you complete the cover sheet fully and clearly, to avoid any delays or problems. Coursework must additionally be securely stapled or bound (not paper-clipped).
Late submission penalties
Coursework submitted late but within 24 hours of the specified deadline, will have 10% deducted from the overall mark. For example, a piece of assessment awarded a mark of 70% would be reduced to 60% as a penalty for late submission. Coursework submitted over 24 hours late will be given a mark of zero. Under no circumstances must any coursework be emailed to an academic for marking.
