Assessment and feedback

The University has approved a new Assessment and Feedback policy. We understand the importance of the assessment you undertake and the feedback you receive throughout your course.

We recognise that feedback provides developmental support and constructive suggestions for how to improve performance, as well as explaining the mark you have been given. The University therefore expects that your deadlines are all published well in advance, feedback is accessible and prompt wherever practical and reasonable.

We recognise that learning, teaching and assessment comes in a variety of forms and as such a number of exceptions to the policy are expected –  therefore you will be advised how the policy will be applied to your course.
