Macbook self-service loans now available at all campuses

1 August 2017

Following on from the success of the Macbook self-service loan unit at Harrow, we have now introduced these at Cavendish, Regent and Marylebone campus too.

Each unit houses 24 MacBooks that can be borrowed by students. The 24/7 self-service loan system allows you to borrow a MacBook using your University card and your library pin code at any time.

Simply select the option you require on the touch screen and then touch your University card at the card reader on the unit and follow the instructions on the screen.

You can borrow the MacBook for 24 hours and then return it using your University card. The system also prints a return receipt should you require it.

The Self Service Macbook Loan units are located at

  • Cavendish (on the ground floor - outside Student Union Office)
  • Regent (B15 computer lab)
  • Marylebone (outside the Library)
  • Harrow (ground floor within the Library)

Please follow video and poster on the Lapsafe unit explaining how to set pin code, borrow a MacBook, return a MacBook and print return receipt.
