University of Westminster to host Fairtrade Fortnight cooking demonstrations and wine tasting

Fairtrade Fortnight

As one of the 15 Fairtrade Universities in London, the University of Westminster wants to help our community understand the impact fair trade makes on the lives of farmers who grow products we love.

To celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 2016, the Sustainability Team is inviting students and staff to our Fairtrade cooking demonstrations and wine tasting. Fairtrade pancakes and bananas will be on offer for free, and we’ll be on hand to chat about the issues around trade as well as how our buying habits have an impact on the challenges facing farmers and workers.

This year Fairtrade Fortnight will take place from the 29 February - 11 March. Please find below our calendar of events and come along to enjoy the festivities.
