First Year Students: Westminster electives are coming!

17 March 2016

If you are a first year student (Level 4), you will soon choose and register for next year's modules. What about studying a Westminster Elective?

Westminster Electives include a wide range of topics, and mean you can study a module from a different subject area to your course. Some Westminster Electives are cross-disciplinary and can help make you more employable. These modules have been developed as part of the University’s Learning Futures educational development programme and give you more choice in what you study. Learn about things like: effective communication, LGBTQ studies, popular culture, entrepreneurship and many more.

In February and March, the University held information sessions at each campus for students to find out more about cross-disciplinary electives. If you missed these, you can find out more about the wide range of modules on offer by visiting the Westminster Electives web page or watch this short video to find out more about Westminster Electives.

Students on a small number of courses are unable to study electives. You can find a list of these on the web page.
