Elishba Zachariah is a Career Consultant with qualifications including a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance and an MA in Careers Education.
One of her specialist areas is entrepreneurship guiding students through their first steps in becoming freelancers, self-employed or setting up a business. She is currently responsible for the Tier1 Enterprise Visa available to international graduates (non-EEA) within the university. The scheme allows talented entrepreneurs to stay in the UK and develop their innovative ideas.
Carmen Guzman Alfonso
Carmen is a lecturer at the University of Seville researching and teaching in areas of Economics, Social Economy, Social Entrepreneurship and Tourism. She has a PhD in Entrepreneurship in Social Economy from the University of Huelva, where she also worked as postdoctoral researcher and lecturer. Carmen has published different book chapters and articles in scientific journals in areas of Social Economy and entrepreneurial cooperative enterprises.
Her current projects include a research with the University of Liege (financed by the Belgium government) exploring and defining different models of social entrepreneurship in the world. She is also involved in a national R&D project (Plan Estatal 2013-2016 Excelencia) from the University of Seville, which studies the global value chain of the turistic SMEs and its relation with innovation.
