Several interdisciplinary projects explore factors affecting well-being, with a particular focus on wellbeing in men (collaborating with Prof. Damien Ridge).

Men are often portrayed as poor at managing health and seeking appropriate professional help. Recent and ongoing projects investigate constructive practices adopted by men to manage their physical and mental health. For example, recent work with male meditators suggests that meditation can facilitate better emotional management and encourage healthy practices, but also highlights potential difficulties that may be encountered through engagement with meditation.
