The Westminster Business School’s Project Management MSc course is now accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM), the UK’s only Project Management chartered professional body.

The Project Management MSc course equips professionals with a set of tried and tested skills for planning, delegating and monitoring projects, giving them the knowledge and tools to help implement strategies for change within organisations.

Walaa Bakry, Principal Lecturer at Westminster Business School led the rigorous accreditation process with the help of the programme team. They ensured all materials conformed to the APM Body of Knowledge, the Competence Framework and the Five Dimensions of Professionalism, as defined by APM.

Nicholas Lambrou, the Course Leader of the Project Management MSc Course, said: “I am very excited with this accreditation, as it increases the employability chances of our students and makes our course more visible to the professional community.”

The Westminster Business School already holds professional accreditations for the much sought after PRINCE2®, MoR and AgilePM qualifications and is one of only a handful of universities offering these qualifications. Receiving APM accreditation further emphasises the School’s aim for providing its students with ‘The Professional Preparation for Business’.
