The University is offering students the opportunity to develop language skills and obtain overseas experience by funding 100 students on the pilot Polylang Plus Scholarship Scheme.
This scheme is open to all current Level 4 students, however, in the event of there being a large number of applications, priority will be given to students who have no or limited overseas experience. We are looking for applicants who will be good ambassadors for the University, are motivated language learners and are interested in other cultures.
The 2014–15 Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey shows that taking a Polylang module at the University of Westminster significantly boosts a graduate’s chance of professional employment, with 85.3% of those embracing the opportunity subsequently entering professional roles.
Polylang Plus will improve your employability by providing you with the opportunity to develop effective communication skills in a professionally and personally.
If you would like to take part in this programme you must complete and submit your online application form by the Friday 23 June.
The Polylang Plus Scholarship Scheme is being offered as part of the Westminster Plus Electives are credit-bearing modules that provide undergraduate students with the chance to expand their professional, intellectual and career skills.
