Sociology anthology

The award-winning Sociology teaching team in the Department of History, Sociology and Criminology have published the third edition of the annual Westminster Sociology Anthology.

The anthology showcases some of the innovative and outstanding work produced by their undergraduate dissertation students.

It was presented by co-course leader Dr Naomi Rudoe at this year’s graduation ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall. It comprises the work of final year students who have explored subjects including Austerity Britain, tattoos in the workplace, sexual double standards, war and gender roles, migration and Brexit.

Dr Rudoe explained: "Our Sociology Anthology is an example of the fascinating and socially committed research that our students produce at Westminster, inspired by our approach to research-led teaching."

The Sociology course obtained 97% student satisfaction in the 2017 National Student Survey.
