Applications are now open for funded research studentships at the Centre for the Study of Democracy.

We are looking for high-quality prospective doctoral students who will contribute to at least one of the core areas of research within the Centre:

  • Contemporary democratic theory and governance
  • Critical international theory
  • Gender and sexuality
  • Post-colonial politics, development and emerging powers
  • Resilience and sustainability
  • Security, violence and international relations
