Sociology at the University of Westminster is celebrating a remarkable success in the 2015 National Student Survey, with an overall student satisfaction rating of 100%.

This makes the Sociology BA Honours degree at Westminster the most highly ranked in London, and one of only a handful of other courses across the country to achieve such an impressive result.

Dr Francis Ray White, course leader of the Sociology degree, explained why students had rated the degree so highly: “We are lucky enough to have a teaching team who go out of their way to ensure that our students achieve their very best. We think the best teaching is research-led, and our lecturers’ enthusiasm for their subject is infectious.”

The Sociology team use their location in central London as a key part of their teaching practice. Sociology modules include walking tours and trips to museums and galleries. Students undertake research projects that engage with London’s social and cultural diversity.
