Psychology student business conference

On Tuesday 26 June, The University of Westminster hosted the first Business Psychology Student Conference in collaboration with the Association for Business Psychology (ABP). The conference marked 20 years since the University established the first postgraduate business psychology course in Europe.

Westminster is currently one of ten universities across the UK to provide the MSc in Business Psychology accredited by the ABP and the first University to host a student conference of this type.

The conference was organised by Dr Kathryn Waddington, Course Leader of the Business Psychology MSc at the University of Westminster. The event welcomed business psychologists and students from several Universities across the UK.

The conference included a diverse line-up of speakers, ranging from industry thought leaders, and presentations from high calibre students and early-career researchers.

The keynote speeches were delivered by Dr Barry Cripps, Managing Partner at Dr Barry Cripps and partner, and Anthony Cousins, Director of Customer Success at Profinda.

The conference also included a selection of exhibitors, poster presentations and workshops where attendees could gain some valuable employability skills.

Dr Peter Bonfield, The University’s Vice-Chancellor, provided a welcome to all attendees, which was followed by a closing panel discussion.
