Westminster graduate Evelina Sara Stasyte received the ‘One to Watch’ award, one of the most highly regarded award schemes in the design profession. The award means that Eve has been invited to the D&AD New Blood Academy, a two-week creative bootcamp that catapults young creatives into the industry.

Speaking about the award, Evelina said:  “It is a very profound moment when you win something as big and the only thing you’re aware of is the people who supported you throughout your creative process.”

Commenting on the success, Senior Lecturer in Graphic Communication Design, Hans Reichert said: “Evelina deserved to win this special D&AD award ‘One to Watch’ at the recent D&AD New Blood Festival. She is a deep thinking and hard working designer, who bases her unique and eye catching visual solutions on thorough research. The Graphic Communication Design course and its staff are all proud of her.”

Commenting on the success, Principal Lecturer in Graphic Communication Design and Course Leader Colin Bailey said: “We are so pleased that Evelina has received recognition for her Final Major Project – a document designed to explain and provide deeper understandings of borderline personality disorder. The final outcomes for this challenging topic were handled with sensitivity and flair, and her individual approach comes through in the work. This is the second year running that a student from the course has won this particular award, so it is also recognition and reward for the staff team who supported her on the course.”
