University of Westminster launches new Internship programme with the Regent Street Association and Santander
18 April 2017
The Regent Street Association is made up of 350 members, including 100 retailers, 50 restaurants and bars, 11 hotels and many office based companies who are now able to register with the University to offer internships providing Westminster students with valuable work experience on one of the most famous streets in the world.
All internships will last for a minimum of three months, beginning in early June and will be paid at least the national minimum wage. Companies who are part of the Regent Street Association will be working directly with the Career Development Centre at the University of Westminster who will advertise each vacancy to relevant student groups, receive applications and shortlist candidates.
Santander Universities, part of the Santander Bank, is supporting this partnership by offering participating students a bursary to support their studies after the successful completion of their internship. Santander believes that university is a vital cornerstone of any community and a mechanism that helps people and businesses prosper, Santander Universities supports universities in more than 20 countries across the world.
