University of Westminster launches 22 new PhD Scholarships

The new scholarships will launch in September 2017, offering 22 PhD students each year an annual tax-free stipend of £16,000 plus the payment of Home or EU tuition fees. The scholarships are available across each of our five faculties and aiming to develop research that is internationally recognised and contributes to innovative practice and public engagement.
Professor Simon Joss, Director of the Graduate School, explained “Doctoral Researchers at Westminster are highly valued and are a key part of a research culture that is growing in size and reputation, with a strong commitment from the University as part of the Westminster 2020 plan.
“These scholarships, funded by the Quintin Hogg Trust, will support high-quality, innovative early career research and enhance our research environment for the next REF submission.”
