Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities celebrates students' success
2 February 2016
The Faculty held a ceremony on 20 January 2016 to mark the occasion. The Dean of Faculty, Professor Roland Dannreuther, and Steve Anderson, Student Funding and Scholarships Manager, welcomed students and their guests. The students were then each presented with a certificate and a cheque for £1,000 by their Head of Department and Professor Dannreuther.
Students’ family and friends attended, some flying in from abroad for the event, and academic staff were also present to share in their students’ success. This occasion was much enjoyed by all and was followed by a celebratory drinks reception.
