Westminster Photojournalism student wins prestigious National Geographic Traveller award

Her images will feature in the National Geographic Traveller (UK) Annual Photography Competition 2015 exhibition at London’s theprintspace.
The winning images are from Alecsandra’s project Ritual, which documents various aspects of Romanian culture - a culture that attempts to keep its traditions alive in a modern era.
The exhibition as a whole features the most accomplished images submitted by all six finalists in this year’s competition: an incredible range of landscapes, people and adventures, from St Paul’s at twilight to a train ride in Sri Lanka.
