Westminster Contemporary Media Practice alumnus directs C4 programme Indian Summers

Contemporary Media Practice BA Honours alumnus Anand Tucker is directing the new popular Channel 4 ten-part series Indian Summers, set in 1932 following the final years of British colonial rule in India. 

Anand is a successful Film and TV Director/Producer working in the UK and US. His Director credits include Hilary and Jackie (1998) and Red Riding (2005, Channel 4), and his Producer credits include Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003). He graduated from the University of Westminster Faculty of Media, Arts and Design in 1989.

The Contemporary Media Practice BA Honours is a unique course, built on our long tradition of teaching interdisciplinary media practice, working across moving image, photography and interactive media. Our approach combines the creative exploration of art school traditions with academic and professional excellence.
