Westminster Business School launches new student awards

The announcement of this latest student award demonstrates the School’s commitment to working in partnership with the industry and with its alumni, for the benefit of current students.
Westminster Business School has a long history of providing business education for undergraduates and management education for practitioners and professionals. The School holds a number of international and professional accreditations from bodies such as the Association of MBAs, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In a recent research assessment exercise, the School was awarded a 2* classification for its internationally recognised applied research.
Carol Blackman, Course Leader, said: “We are delighted with this collaboration with Foster Media, whose generosity will help recognise excellence in the integrated marketing campaign, a key part of the course. To benefit from the kind support of one of our alumni is wonderful, and we hope that current students will also look back fondly and feel inspired to support generations to come.”
Speaking about his motivations for this collaboration, Simon Foster said: “I took this course around twenty years ago and yet I continue to draw upon knowledge from it. Just today, for example, I had to think about the differences between products and services for a client, something I would not have been able to do as effectively without having studied the subject in detail. The MA has enabled me to find order and process in an increasingly complex commercial world. I’m very happy to be supporting the next generation of Westminster Business School marketers.”
The first prize will be awarded in March 2016, pertaining to the September 2014 student group.
