Business and Management 6 October 2015

Twenty-six Master's students from University of Salzburg Management and Business School (SMBS) attended a week long course on various topics within finance, logistics and global supply chain, hosted by Westminster Business School (WBS).

The eighth annual summer school was opened by David Hitchcock, Dean of Westminster Business School, and lectures were given by academics Bijan Hesni, Nick Barnett and Dr Galina Gornostaeva.

In addition to lectures, summer school students enjoyed site visits to the UN International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and to Bloomberg, where they were given expert talks on related topics.

Mr Norbert Gerner, SMBS Master Programme Director, praised WBS's effort in organising the course and the increasingly impressive facilities that are made available to SMBS student at the Marylebone campus.

SMBS is proud of the long relationship with WBS and aims to extend this collaborating into new areas.
