"The Talent Bank has been providing me with flexible work that fits around my studies, which is the best part of the scheme. My employers fully understand and appreciate the importance of my studies and at no point put pressure on me to do hours that I was not comfortable with. The Talent Bank has also been an amazing scheme in helping me develop valuable skills and opening doors for me for employment when I graduate. I have thoroughly enjoyed the placements I have done so far within the University and with external employers and I have had a good work and study balance." – Dunya Janebdar, law student
"When I decided to start studying at this university, I was determined not to use loans to fund my education. Therefore, I was heavily dependent on my scholarship, bursary, grant and part time or summer work. The Talent Bank not only gave me an opportunity to bolster the skills that I had already acquired throughout the years working in different sectors, but it also provided me with the opportunity to truly support myself financially while studying. Therefore, I am forever grateful to this initiative in enabling me to finish my studies as one of the few students that are not heavily in debt." – Natasha Henry, Chinese and international relations student
Good luck to everyone applying!
