India is a key priority for global engagement activity at the University, and our Indian university partnerships, spanning a range of faculties at Westminster, are a valued part of our portfolio of international connections.

As part of the development of our Global Engagement Strategy, and with a particular emphasis on the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Jane Lewis (Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology) and Professor Alexandra Hughes (Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement) spent a productive week in early March visiting universities in Delhi, Chennai and Vellore, to deepen existing partnerships and to explore new opportunities.

The visit followed an earlier visit in January, during which academic connections related to the Faculties of Architecture and the Built Environment and Media, Arts and Design were developed and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Anna University, Chennai.
