Finance and Accounting MSc gains new CIMA accreditation
Accounting, Finance and Economics 1 October 2015
Graduates of the Masters' programme will now be able to sit a single three-hour “gateway exam”. Once passed they will be granted exemptions from all of CIMA’s certificate-, operational- and management-level exams (12 of 17 in total), and then enter the CIMA Professional Qualification at the strategic level.
The Westminster Business School’s Finance and Accounting MSc is one of only three courses in the UK – and the only one in London – which has been accredited to allow graduates to claim 7 exemptions from the exams of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) on completion of a one-year course.
