Westminster Business School receives Academy of Management's Best Paper Award

3 April 2014

The paper, written by Professor Vlatka Hlupic and Dr Tamwatin Tanmika, covers the relationship between meditation and leadership.

Vlatka Hlupic, our Professor of Business and Management, has published over 150 articles in journals, books and conference proceedings, mainly in the areas of leadership, knowledge management, business process change and business process modelling.

Entitled "Effect of meditation on self-perception of leadership skills", this recent study is judged by the Academy of Management's reviewers to be one of the best accepted papers in its 2014 programme. The research might also be presented in the 2014 Academy of Management's Annual Meeting Proceedings.

At Westminster Business School we have a strong research culture with wide-ranging interests in business and management. This research attracts funding from leading bodies such as ESRC, the Leverhulme Trust and the Nuffield Foundation.
