WBS PG and MBA FT January starters: are you looking to develop your career in the UK?

24 January 2014

If you're an international (non EU) student who hasn't worked in the UK or EU before and would like to get advice about your career and local working practices, join our mentoring programme.

Deadline for applications: Friday 7 February 2014

What is mentoring?

Mentoring is a two-way relationship designed to meet your professional development needs. During your first meeting with your mentor you'll set goals to help you to gain a sense of direction in both your career and academic life.

Our mentors typically offer three hours of their time over a 3-month period. Your mentor will help you to succeed in your career and facilitate your personal and professional growth. He/she will support, encourage and guide you in managing your career aspirations.

Why take part?

Our mentoring programme offers you a great opportunity to:

  • Get insights into the UK industry and policies
  • Develop your communication, networking and interpersonal skills
  • Increase your professional confidence
  • Receive feedback and share experiences with a senior professional

For further information about the programme please contact wbs-bet@westminster.ac.uk.
