Professor Vlatka Hlupic talks about her book at Institute of Directors event

21 October 2014

Professor Vlatka Hlupic, Lecturer at Westminster Business School, has been invited as a special guest to speak at the 14th London Global Convention organised by the Institute of Directors in India.

During this high-profile event, where speakers include members of the UK and Indian governments, chief executive officers and university chancellors, Professor Vlatka Hlupic will talk about research related to her latest book The Management Shift and discuss the topic of ethical corporate governance.

According to Professor Vlatka Hlupic, research shows that corporate life expectancy and performance have declined by 75% in the last 50 years, and that only 20% of employees are fully engaged at work.

This means that individuals and organisations need a different approach if they are to achieve lasting prosperity. They need a shift in mindset, organisational culture and corporate consciousness to the new level of thinking and performing. Organisational culture needs to be more focused on people, purpose and collaboration.
