Launch of The Wells Street Journal
1 April 2014
The Wells Street Journal will serve both as a platform for students to showcase their best writing at the end of their degree and as a practical project for teaching and learning the essential writing strategies required in this industry. The journal is now part of the formal assessment for one of the course's core modules. Students are assessed on the basis of their contribution to the journal's editorial, marketing and web-publishing team.
Pioneering the project is the current cohort of ten students, Chris Fenwick, Frances Gow, Charlie Hawksfield, Antonis Kazoulis, Samantha Kelly, Anne McCarthy, Shafayat Rasul, Steve Richards, Stephen Thompson and Jon Wood. They have done a fantastic job, successfully setting-up a brand-new publication in less than 12 weeks. Well done indeed!
