History academic advises on Heritage Lottery Fund project in Welling

Dr Peter Catterall (Reader in History) is the historical adviser to ‘Welling will remember them’, a £50,000 Heritage Lottery Fund project on remembering the local dead of the First World War in the South-East London town of Welling.

He is pictured here explaining the course of the war at an event in September 2014 to launch their website to a packed audience at the Tudor mansion of Hall Place in nearby Bexley.
