English 16 July 2014

The Department of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies has launched its first ever series of short courses.

This series of creative writing short courses covers fiction, drama and digital writing. The exciting and vibrant life of the city, with its modern and cosmopolitan atmosphere, will be part of the creative writing experience.

The courses are designed for anybody with a keen interest in writing, willing to take their creativity to the next level. The practical workshop structure of each session means that everybody will be encouraged to write and produce new material on a regular basis.

Anybody attending one or more of these courses will see definite changes in the way they write and their attitude towards writing. Participants will develop their own creative techniques and benefit from learning about the latest developments in publishing.
