Construction Management Graduate wins Constructor's Prize from the Worshipful Company of Constructors

Property and Construction 13 February 2014

Construction Management graduate, Hazel Swan, was presented the Constructor's Prize by the Worshipful Company of Constructors at an event held on 12 February 2014.

Hazel Swan graduated from the University of Westminster in June 2013 with a First Class Honours Degree in Construction Management and undertook the degree course on a part time (day release) basis over five years whilst employed as an assistant design coordinator with Willmott Dixon, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned capital works, regeneration and support service companies.

The prize is provided by The Worshipful Company of Constructors in association with University of Westminster and is awarded to the first class honours degree student of the year.

Throughout the duration of her course, Hazel achieved consistently high grades in her modules, culminating in the award of a first class honours degree. Such a level of performance is exceptional, but to achieve it whilst having to balance her studies with the demands of full time employment is clear evidence of Hazel’s commitment.

Staff members at the University commented that Hazel approached all of her modules with a positive attitude and is a worthy recipient of the Constructor's Prize.
