Art and Design 11 February 2014

Animation BA Honours student Amalie Vilmar’s film entitled 'Gutenberg', an experimental stop-motion animation, has received a nomination in the Student Excellence category of the British Animation Awards 2014.

The biennial British Animation Awards (BAA) will be presented on 7 March at the British Film Institute at Southbank.

The Student Excellence category was introduced this year and stands in addition to the existing Best Student Film category, for which 'Gutenberg' was also shortlisted.

Course leader Stephen Ryley said: “Westminster is proud to announce that 'Gutenberg' has been chosen as a finalist at the final jury session. We wish Amelie the best of luck.”
