WBS students: entry the Pearson digital competition

16 October 2013

Deadline for applications: Friday 18 October 2013

Pearson is hosting the Pearson biannual Hackathon on 5 and 6 November 2013, from 9am to 5pm.

This is a global event that brings Pearson developers and business leaders to London, where they form project groups to come up with innovative digital ideas for the company.

As part of the competition, the company is offering 10 free spaces to students from across the UK and Ireland.

If you are selected you will play with and design digital products for one of the world’s leading education companies. This is also a great opportunity for you to:

  • develop employability skills in a business context
  • understand how a digital FTSE 100 company operates and the new types of jobs that exist in the technology field
  • have the potential for your idea to be taken forward and developed

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

To enter, please fill out the competition entry form on Pearson website. Good luck!
