Summer of Student Innovation – £5,000 funding available
Architecture and Interiors 29 May 2013
This summer there is an opportunity for students to receive funding from Jisc, a registered charity which funds research to develop digital technologies in higher and further education. There is £5,000 available to fund a small, practical project that can run over the summer.
If you have an idea on how technology can be used to improve university life at Westminster, you will need to make a submission to the Summer of Innovation website.
Once an idea has been submitted it will be available for people to vote on. Once the voting period closes on 17 June, Jisc and partners will evaluate and select those that will receive funding.
Students who join the Summer of Innovation will get the chance to create real technology solutions, have the technology they create adopted by universities, and participate in events where they can meet the other student teams as well as technical experts.
For more information and funding details, please see the Summer of Student Innovation website.
