Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2013
6 March 2013
PRES is a bi-annual, national survey for postgraduate research students, which last ran in 2011. This is the only national survey for research students and this year 116 HEIs across the UK are taking part.
Anonymous data from the survey will provide a national overview of the experiences of research students and will enable us to assess our feedback against relevant benchmarking groups within the sector.
The survey is an opportunity for students to voice their opinion and to be partners in developing the doctoral researcher experience. The results will provide useful feedback to inform the developmental work of the Graduate School across the University and at local level.
Within the University, the survey results also provide valuable feedback from our research students about their experiences of their supervision and other key aspects of the research degree programme.
