175th Anniversary news: The University will be celebrating its presence in China in April
27 March 2013
A high profile event is being organised in central Beijing, which will be attended by key members of staff including Deans, the Vice Chancellor and the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
Two alumni of the University have been tasked with increasing and improving our in-country support for students, agents, partner universities and alumni.
After a gathering of UK based staff and members of partner universities on 25 April, the official launch will kick off with a press conference on the morning of 26 April. In the afternoon, a student focused event will give current offer holders and future students the opportunity to learn about key courses, as well as getting detailed offer and scholarship information. University Deans will be on hand to meet students directly.
The event will culminate in a gala dinner for our guests and will include an Honorary Doctorate ceremony. The University of Westminster’s future plans and support for the China market will also be revealed.
