New library opening hours

14 March 2012

Regent and Cavendish libraries will be open for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from 26 March to 24 May thanks to the student campaign promoting extended opening hours.

During this trial period, you will be able to access:

  • study spaces;
  • borrow and return via the self service machines;
  • print materials as well as e-books and e-journals via Library Search;
  • printed  Library Subject Guides to help with searching for information in your subject area;
  • printing and copying; and
  • computers and wireless access.

During the times when library staffed services have closed:

  • security staff will be present;
  • only University of Westminster students with a valid ID card will be permitted entry; and
  • students without blocks on their account can borrow and return books (including reservations) using the self service machines.

This increased access will give you the opportunity to plan your studies with more flexibility.  As this is only a trial period, we encourage you to provide feedback at the library counters.

Due to the refurbishment building works at Regent and Marylebone, the opening hours may be subject to change.

Please ensure that you always check online at library opening hours before making a journey.

Visit library and IT services for more information on the services available to you.
