Westminster Business School Alumnus Awarded MBE

Westminster Business School graduate Barry Laden has been awarded an MBE in the 2011 Queen’s New Year Honours list.

Barry_LadenBarry, who studied for a Diploma in Accountancy in 1984, is the CEO of The Laden Showroom, a fashion house that nurtures, mentors and sells for small independent fashion designers based in London’s Brick Lane. He wins his award for services to the Fashion Industry.

In December 2009, in recognition for his social entrepreneurial work through The Laden Showroom, The Observer featured him as being listed in the top 50 of The Future 500 - The Courvoisier sponsored list of "inspirational, creative talent" in the UK for the year ahead.
