Professor Jeremy Till Acknowledged as Leading British Researcher

Professor Jeremy Till, Dean of the School of Architecture and the Built Environment, University of Westminster is amongst a number of high profile researchers chosen for their “extraordinary influence on academia, business and wider society” in the latest Research Councils UK publication: ‘Impacts: People and Skills'. The researchers are recognised for their skills and expertise, illustrating the importance of research to the future prosperity of the UK.

Jeremy Till‘Impacts: People and Skills', profiles respected researchers from a diverse selection of different fields of study informing the British economy and society in a variety of ways. The magazine aims to highlight how vital research is in finding solutions to “the economic crisis and the huge societal challenges facing the UK today.”

Professor Jeremy Till said: “It’s crucial to emphasise how fundamental research is in assisting our society investigate, develop and source resolutions to the issues we face now and in the future. Although research may appear removed from daily life, its theories, study and application should always be firmly aimed at the issues of the real world.”
