Russia Today: Dr Richard Barbrook comments on Brexit alternatives
15 January 2019
Talking about Brexit alternatives, Dr Barbrook said he believed the only solution would be to withdraw Article 50, instead of extending it. According to him, this alternative is more and more likely to happen considering the circumstances.
When asked about the differences that have surfaced within the Torys on the issue, he said: “In all political parties the coalitions have different interests. The conservative party has traditionally been the party of business and it now seems to actually get itself into a fight with the people who naturally would support it. That is big business to big banks, and a no deal Brexit would be a total disaster for them.”
