Channel 5: Diet Secrets and How to Lose Weight

Polly Aylwin, Research Associate in Translational Physiology features in the Channel Five series Diet Secrets and How to Lose Weight well, measuring each participants weight and body composition at the start and end of the experiment.

In each episode of Diet Secrets and How to Lose Weight a celebrity participant tests out a diet over a 30 day period. Polly Aylwin met with each participant at the start and end of the experiment to weigh them and analyse their body composition and fat distribution.

So far Big Brother winner Josie Gibson tested the Ketogenic Diet, a high fat, low carb diet; Bianca Gasgoine was on a superfood diet and Frankie Essex tested the 5:2 diet. You can catch up on all episodes and see Polly’s results on My5.

The next episode will air on 26 January 2018 at 8pm on Channel 5.
