About the talk
As Head of Communications at one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, James is in the best position to argue that corporate communications and reputational management are an increasingly important aspect of business management. As well as underlining its central purpose and value in an ever increasing globalised world, James will share and discuss a range of practical examples and scenarios where communications plays an integral role in business, from areas such as the attraction of talent, through to internal communications, helping employees navigate change, and some of the realities and challenges that are faced in a crisis situation.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to network over drinks and canapés.

About James Bradley
James is an accomplished communications professional who has worked, both with and for, a number of leading organisations across a variety of industries. He graduated from Westminster Business School in 1995, with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies Services, with a particular focus on retail management and strategy.
Following this, he completed the graduate training programme with Next Retail at their Leicester headquarters, before switching careers paths and a return to London. He has worked agency-side in employee communications for a number of leading agencies, including Barkers, TMP and McCann Erickson, on briefs and projects for clients ranging from Microsoft and Honda, through to the Pfizer and the Metropolitan Police Service. In early 2007 he moved in-house, joining UBS Investment Bank, an industry that was hit shortly thereafter by the financial crisis. More recently, he has spent six years with BP, and is currently Head of Communications for Technology and Safety & Operational Risk.
