Westminster Alumni Awards nominations now open for public vote

17 May 2018

Fifteen nominees have been shortlisted for the Westminster Alumni Awards, and now it is up to the public to decide who the winners will be.

The shortlisted nominees have been selected from almost 200 applications which highlighted the breadth of accomplishments and talent across Westminster’s worldwide alumni community.

Westminster seeks to acknowledge the variety of ways our graduates make a real difference across the globe, particularly through their contribution to local, national and international communities.

Westminster Alumni Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the University of Westminster graduates and its predecessor institutions, the Polytechnic of Central London, and the Regent Street Polytechnic.

The recognitions for successful alumni have been split in five categories: the Entrepreneurial Award, Social Impact Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and an Award for Outstanding Achievement and one for Contribution to the Creative Industries.

Now that the names of the nominees have been announced, the public vote will determine individual winners for each of the five award categories, which will be announced in June.

Profiles of the shortlisted nominees in each category can be found here and you can vote using our online voting form until Thursday 14 June.

Award winners will receive a certificate detailing the important contribution they have made in relation to their category and will receive these at a celebratory dinner in September 2018, hosted by the University’s Vice-Chancellor.
