Westminster students meet creative industry leaders at the 19th FAB Awards
Journalism and Mass Communication 3 July 2017
The FAB Awards aim to recognise the critical contribution that outstanding creative work makes to building brands and to identify and reward leading practitioners from over all over the world.
Before this year’s awards a FAB Forum was held to bring brands, creatives, media and tech together with students to shine a light on thought leadership and innovation from the Food & Beverage industry.
Elena Muñoz de León, a second-year student, who is now working for the FAB Awards, said: “Our lecturer, Carl Jones, gave me the opportunity to attend the FAB Awards. I felt extremely lucky to have been part of a day full of innovation, creatives and legends of the industry.
Neeraj Nayar, founder of the FAB Awards, said: “Being able to offer something constructive to the future of our Industry is very dear to us at FAB and also a privilege.
"We were lucky to be able to approach Carl Jones, a former FAB Award winner himself, who is now a professor at the University. Carl and I were delighted to welcome the 'FAB Futures' to both the thought-leadership forum during the day and the Award ceremony in the evening.”
