Disabled access at Regent Library

The library is on three floors with access at ground-floor level. Lifts provide access to all floors in the library.

The library can be accessed via a lift at the front entrance of the building, or a ramp at the rear entrance, in Riding House Street.

Assistive technology

Each of our libraries has an assistive technology area designed for students with disabilities.

Information about the equipment and software available can be found on our Accessibility page and in our Library Services Access Guide for Disabled Students (PDF). More details on all our available software can be found on our Computer rooms page.

Emergency evacuations

If you have mobility problems, please let us know when you arrive so we are aware you are in the building in case of an emergency evacuation.

Audible fire alarms are used in all University buildings. If you are unable to hear the fire alarm, please inform security staff when you first enter the building.
