We will be tailoring our delivery of our short courses in the year ahead, in accordance with government guidance on physical distancing, with the safety, health and wellbeing of our University community at the heart of our decisions. We will be delivering the CILEx courses via online virtual classroom until the end of 2020.
Whatever the way you start your Westminster experience - online, on campus or a blend of these - you can be assured of a warm welcome at our University, where your wellbeing, the quality of our teaching and your learning experience, are our priorities.
CILEx (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) courses provide an alternative route to becoming a qualified lawyer. Our CILEx courses are taken part-time, so that you can continue to work while studying towards your qualification.
The CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice is the follow-on course from Level 3 Professional Diploma In Law and Practice. The Level 6 course is completed over two academic years on a part-time evening basis. We envisage that you complete three units of study in each year, which will require you to attend University two evenings per week during term-time.
Level 6 is equivalent to undergraduate level.
Who is this course for?
Level 6 Year 1 is a follow on after completion of Level 3 Diploma (Years 1 and 2).
