Academic requirements

Undergraduate students

If you are studying your first degree and wish to study for one semester or full year the entrance requirements are:

  • You must be studying for a degree in your home country and have completed 1 year or have already graduated
  • You must be 18 years of age or older when you begin the programme
  • You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. If you wish to study at the School of Media, Arts and Design you require a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. If you are from a country with a different grading system you must be averaging a B/Good/80% and be in good academic standing

Postgraduate students

Our entry requirements for postgraduate students who would like to join our semester-long study abroad programme are as follows:

  • You must be a graduate and hold an undergraduate degree
  • You must have graduated with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For students from other grading systems average grades will vary depending on your university and home country. For details please contact the Education Abroad team
